"Can you feel the thrill of slipping into a fresh cotton tee? Now, imagine that sensation for someone who hasn't had the chance to change their shirt for months or even years!"
As you will find on our MISSION page, we are here not just to sell you a T-shirt with our logo but also to GIVE BACK.
As a person with a fashion background who has studied psychology for years, I have come to understand that one does not go without the other, whether most people understand this or not. Psychology and fashion coexist as they head in the same direction, and I will discuss more about this soon, but for now, let's discuss our first assignment.
I am very excited to kick off our ORISON: BE AUTHENTIC launch with the "BUY ONE-GIVE ONE."
YOU buy 1, and WE donate one to a homeless person.
For every t-shirt with our ORISON: BE AUTHENTIC logo you buy in March, a new t-shirt will be donated to the homeless population here in Corpus Christi, Texas, where Orison was created.
We have seen a significant rise, as mentioned on the MISSION page, of 88%, and it is not all due to substance abuse or mental health issues but lack of affordability. People who have always had a bed to sleep in, food to eat, and a roof over their heads are now out on the streets begging for money, in despair.
Choose one with significant meaning and strong brand recognition in an era dominated by T-shirts. This shirt should proudly represent your conscious decision to be part of a change and showcase your resilience, awareness, compassion, and empathy.
A t-shirt might seem like just a piece of clothing to most, but imagine the impact it can have on someone wearing the same shirt for over a week—or even 365 days—without a chance to wash it. Torn and tattered, that shirt is their reality. But a fresh t-shirt can transform their self-esteem, restore their dignity, and ignite a spark of hope. It can light up their face with a smile, and you can be the reason behind it! Sometimes, you'll notice that a homeless person might turn down your money or food because they've lost hope. They might be battling depression and fear what's in the food, depending on their mental state. But picture the joy of finally swapping a dirty, worn-out shirt for a brand-new one! Can you feel the thrill of slipping into a fresh cotton tee? Now, imagine that sensation for someone who hasn't had the chance to change their shirt for months or even years!
Thanks to your amazing support at the start of April, with the temperatures rising here in South Texas, we will be thrilled to announce the total number of T-shirts that will be donated. This number will represent HOW MANY individuals received a brand-new shirt because of YOU!
We are thrilled to finally be in the perfect emotional, physical, and mental state to unite the worlds of fashion and psychology. Your participation is essential to making this dream a reality.
